Last night, I listened to a podcast that sent chills down my spine.

On the Wizards YouTube channel, three SEO experts were interviewing a Frenchman who works for CrakRevenue, the world's largest affiliate company in the porn and dating industry. During the interview, I learned that there are men nicknamed in the industry as "whales." These guys can spend astronomical sums of $275,000 per year in tips to watch young virtual women undress in front of them on their computer screens. A quarter million dollars. To watch a screen.

One of the SEO experts scratches his head during the interview and asks: "But how can we explain such amounts of money?" Good question. The answer is both simple and tragic.
